SMART Board lesson developer
JUMP Math has immediate openings for multiple contract developers to create SMART Board lessons that align with and support the in-class delivery of JUMP Math’s Kindergarten and Grade 5 math programs.
Using SMART Notebook, SMART Board lesson developers adapt JUMP Math lesson plans (provided in PDF format) into student-friendly slides that remain true to the original lessons. Developers will follow JUMP Math’s style and language to convert the text-rich “teacher talk” of the lesson plans into succinct, mathematically correct wording and/or visuals that are suitable for student consumption.
Successful candidates will have the following skills:
- Knowledge of lesson planning/execution, as well as classroom language and organization
- Familiarity with the use of SMART Boards in the classroom (JUMP Math will provide Notebook software)
- Ability/interest in math and good design sense
- Excellent written communication skills
An Education degree (Primary, Junior, or Intermediate) and classroom teaching experience (Grades K–8) are strongly preferred.
